View Full Version : Surrey Meet October Possible Dent removal !
Fulham71 09 September 2002, 13:56 A few people at yesterdays meet were talking about getting parking dents removed from there cars & we discussed the possibility of getting a paintless dent removal guy to one of the meets (subject to theorganisers & pubs approval)
I have spoken to a guy I have use in the past & has said he would be interested in coming to a meet to do this. He charges £30 per panel.
Is anyone interested if it can be arrnaged ?
Cheers
Paul
DrEvil 09 September 2002, 14:15 Nice idea Fulham - but I think the lads were sorting out something with ScoobyFury, as his business is dent removal, based near Power Engineering.. perhaps speak to Dyney about it.
I'll have to chat to the pub anyway before next meet, so will ask them then.
Cheers, Alex

Fulham71 10 September 2002, 09:59 No problem Alex
I didnt realise anything was being arranged nor did the guys at the table I was sitting at
Dont wanna tread on anyones toes so use the guy who is already arranged !
If you wanna call i am around during the day too
Paul
adamp 10 September 2002, 22:47 Alex and Paul, I think the questions floating around the table were specifically to do with doing this at the Surrey Meet for people who go to the meet anyway and maybe didn't want to, or couldn't make it to the previously discussed dent removal session. Paul's idea was that he knew someone and we are all in one place at one time and it may be a good idea. I for one need to get some dings taken out of the P1.
Cheers
Adam
DrEvil 11 September 2002, 08:55 Cheers Adam.
I think we have two options here:
1) stay at newlands all day - have a picnic or similar, will give the dent removal guy the most time on all the cars..
or
2) arrange to meet at the pub a bit earlier - if we get the landlords permission (might be pushing our luck, doubt he wants cars in pieces infront of the pub).

Fulham71 12 September 2002, 09:56 Ok guys
It makes no odds to me if the guy I have used in the past comes or not !
If anyone wants him to come then let me know
If the other guys coming then thats fine, no problem with me !
Alex I will leave it in your capable hands mate !
Rebecca 14 September 2002, 10:32 Alex, keep us posted ... my car was vandalised last night .... need someone who can take nasty dents out of front bumper now images/smilies/mad.gif (as well as replace smashed headlight)
HKSubaru 14 September 2002, 11:36 what happened?
Rebecca 14 September 2002, 16:30 Police say it was hit and run. Someone smashed the headlight and bumper while car was parked up overnight images/smilies/mad.gif
Neighbour knocked on my door this morning to tell me.
Yes I know ... before anyone else says it ... I know I'm jinxed with this car .... :p the bulb industry is making a fortune out of me that's for sure :(
breezer 16 September 2002, 12:39 Would the plastic protectors you can buy help much in this case? Dunno... Or you already had them and they didn't help?
DrEvil 16 September 2002, 17:04 Paul,
Sorry I've not called yet, I haven't had time mate.
details will be published here at least two weeks in advance of the next surrey meet.
Cheers, Alex
