Back in the day, myself and my mates got into reviving and riding old British bikes. Has anyone else had the 'pleasure'? ;):D:D

Had loads, Nortons, Royal Enfields, BSAs, Triumphs and this fella - a 1948 Panther 100 600cc single sloper

With the big carb fitted it went like stink, never broke down and could cuise happily at around 80mph :D Not bad for a ten quid basket job :D

Where is it now I wonder?

A Panther doing 80mph ! It must have been firing twice every lamp post ;)

UB -- that's a nice big Pussy ;):D

In 1983 I swapped (yes, swapped) a Suzi GT250 for a '68 Triumph TR6 (the single-carb 650). Great bike, all original, just needed a bit of wiring sorting out. Had it for about a year before it went to help buy another bloody two-stroke (YPVS :)). I sold it for £250 .... this was when Brit bikes were just old hacks ....

As you can see, there is a theme running down the years :D

I've had a fair helping of British iron including:

Off Road:
BSA Bantam (ex GPO), BSA C11G, BSA M20, BSA C15
350 JAP engined grass track bike

Road bikes have included:

Ariel NH Red Hunter
Triumph Tiger Cub
and a Production Racing Bonneville.

I still have a Triumph Twenty-one (3TA) which I restored about 8 years ago.
