currently have a vtr1000f in a hundred bits in the garage (rebuilding it after a big smash)

its got ohlins front & back, piped, jetted & canned (110 bhp & over 70lb/ft from 3500 - 9000 :) better than most of these red italian things) plus other bits - braided hoses, moriwaki carbon belly pan, etc.

thinking of getting it sprayed up in repsol colours - anyone think of a better colour for a vtr ?

Started with an RMX125..
Then had a Rd350 ypvs..
YZ 250 for weekends..
Then a ZXR400.. long story..
Then an NC30.... Got myself in a bit of trouble with this one but managed to get off... brought out a bit of a wild side in me :D
So, with that and the birth of my daughter i decided to pack my lid/leathers away and get a 93 WRX...

Currently racing Tony Scott tuned R1 Yamaha in the Uk Endurance Championships and have previously raced up to British championship Supersport 600 level with two ex factory R6's.
Anyone into bikes in a big way on here who may be interested in becoming involved with our team please let me know.
We are racing this Sunday at Snetterton in an 8hr endurance race and anyone from scoobynet interested in getting close up to the action would be very welcome at our garage.

I currently have a Honda CBR 600 FS Sport, only problem is the weather ain't the greatest this year to get use of it. The bikes only got 3700 miles in 18 months which is poor compared to my old CBR 600 FX which had 10,700 miles after 18 months when I traded it in againt the Sport last March.

I have a Y2K Fireblade. Modifations are, Ohlins steering damper, full Remus titanium race exhaust, Dynojet Power commander, and shorter gearing. Also had a blackbird until recently but sold it as I had no need for two bikes. I've still got loads of new/newish parts for the Blackbird if anyone's interested. My car is a 93 WRX, very shiny (Wax Wizard) looks like new.

bladerider, the old man has a can and changed the gearing on his 2001 blade, he's looking to get a power commander next, do you rate the power comander? The best mod for the blade has to be the damper though!

Currently running a MY01 Hayabusa with Yoshi cans. :D:D Not as nice as my last bike which was an RSV-R Mille and was luvverly! Still, they're not 2 seater, so it had to go. The Busa is awesome and very comfortable 2-up. Have had a couple of Blades, ZX9-R, ZXR 750 etc etc in the past.

Got a 330d Sport for everyday though. Sorry ;)

Bobfrog,
Your right about the damper. It was almost unrideable until I got the suspenders set up properly and got the damper shortly afterwards (on the advice of a Honda race technician). The power commander can be set up using various downloads from their website. Better pickup from low revs without the snatchiness associated with the standard mapping etc.
