Speeding fines.
Has anyone got any advice (apart from slowing down) as to how to avoid the points and fines with speeding convictions?
I hear all these stories about ignoring the notification, but has anyone actually tried this?
This advice is desperately needed. I had managed 21/2 years and 75,000 miles in a Rover tomcat without 1 speeding fine. I now have a scooby and have covered less than 3000 miles and have 2 fines in 4 weeks. Impressive i know, but if I carry on then it will be mountain bike time for me!

In that case you need a jammer
If it is GATSO'S you are being got by then the road Angel I hear seems to be the best out there and will pick up SPECS etc, etc.....
Points? If they meant prizes I would be collecting them more often, they just seem a bit expensive to pick up atm

350,000 miles in a year? you an airline pilot or something?? They dont have GATSO's in clouds do they ?
Come off it...
Thats 958.9 miles a day, 365 days a year.
At an average speed of 50 miles per hour (lucky to get anywhere near that usually in this country) thats 19 hours and 12 minutes (or there abouts) of continuous driving...
If you had weekends off that would be 1,341 miles a day to make up.
My ****
35,000 is hard enough, I do that regularly. But I havent had a single fine in 6 years....Am I due some ? Hope not..
Edited to add the Quote from Scooby-"pie in the sky"-Si :P

Reply to RAZE BUZZ????? Can you not read?
Because you obviously cannot count!
75000 divided by 2.5 = 30000 a year not 350,000 a year!!! Hello!!!
Hope your driving is better than your arithmetic!

He was referring to scooby si's first post re 350,000 miles. You numpty.
*sarcasm mode on* You can avoid speeding fines by looking in your mirrors, looking out for cameras, or pressing the pedal on the right more lightly.
