View Full Version : so who will win the league this year?
fatherpierre 09 March 2002, 00:23 Who said I was a Leeds fan? I'm actually a PSG fan but would rather see Leeds win the premiership. Failing that - anyone but Man Utd.

If you know where you can get em I'd love too
Keegans taking you all the way?? back to Div 1 ;) seriously though I think the blue side of the city will be in the premiership a while now, no excuses anymore, you have the man and the cash and they kindly built you a nice new stadium, isit part owned by City or is it a freebie from the commonwealth games??
10 days to go!!!!!!

And that would make you happy? Even if Leeds were relegated? Very sad and bitter! Can't have that sort of talk from a supporter of one of our 'feeder' clubs can we?! First Eric, now Rio..... :D You carry on nurturing them and passing them on and we'll reap the benefits!
fatherpierre 03 August 2002, 23:26 Plus, didn't realise Swindon was a suburb of Manchester. Silly me, was thinking about Man City.
Funkii Munkii 04 August 2002, 14:47 Apint of John Smiths Best BITTER ;)

Funkii Munkii 04 August 2002, 15:01 You should be aware I am a Red B@stard as Kippax kindly calls me but I have been watching Utd for 30 Years and Barnet for 20, The stan flashman / Barry Fry years right through to the err *cough* Tony Cotte era!!, now we have a great chance of getting back into the league with the gay cab driver shreeves;), Yes Utd are my passion but I still support my local team, it would have been easy as a Kid to switch to Spurs or Arsenal during the 70's and 80's but I stuck by my team and I dont give a sh1t what anyone thinks, I love footy and I love watching Utd , win lose or draw, when I cant watch Utd you cant beat going down to your local team with 2000 others standing in the cold drinking bovril, thats reality football, whoops nearly lapsed into rant mode.
Must go burnage awaits :D
Pathfinder 05 August 2002, 00:42 cmon Boro !!
aslong as we finish above the mackems thats all that counts :)
SwinYE5 05 August 2002, 12:30 Father - Does it matter where anyone comes from? I am as passionate about United as any other United fan, wherever they live. I go up there quite a bit. I know two people here, who both have season tickets and one of them goes to EVERY single game, home, away, and abroad. It takes me about 12 hours to get the train up there, watch the game and then get home again. Some might say supporters like this are even more dedicated than the ones that live in Manchester. Not me, you understand but you get my point.....
I started supporting United in '83 before they won the FA Cup the same year and, if you think I'm a glory hunter, then just what had they won in the few years leading up to this? Not a lot!
