I have been asked by the Hants RS rep if we would like to be a visiting car club at their show on the 21st July at the motor museum.
I have asked him to leave a space for 25 car's.Optimistic? I hope not,I would think it's the ideal day for the family and car nut's amongst us.
There is also a price reduction for attending the show.
Adults are £8.00
Children are £4.00
Normal entry is £11.95, so a bit of saving.
If you are interested post a reply, who know's we may need a larger space left for us!
Cheers Paul.

Paul,

Where are you thinking of meeting for the convoy - would not recommend going to Beaulieu through Lyndhurst as the roads tend to get quite busy, although there's some nice fast roads down from J2 of the M27 which take you straight to Beaulieu but no easy meeting points... :D

How about meeting at Safeway off of Junc2 M27?
We could then head down past Longdown dairy farm, the Bold Forrester pub and on into Beaulieu.
Nice bit of road :D :D :D
I have emailed the RSOC rep and am awaiting more detail's.
Cheers Paul.

Is this the one in Totton or is there one further out I don't know about?
Oh, and what time do you suggest?

Bad Bads
16 July 2002, 21:44
It's the Safeway about 1 mile from junc 2.
I will know exact timing a bit later in the week but I think we can enter to get parked up from about 8:30 onwards.
I am also being sent windscreen passes so they know we are in a car club.
Cheers Paul.

Paul,

Should be able to make it if you have room for one more, but we probably won't be able to stay all day cause of the hounds! We'll meet you all at Safeway - what time ?
I just have to persude Mark to wash it now and repair the very small matter of a bent bumper bracket after it was shunted on Tuesday by a muppet in a mondeo!!
Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!!

Cheers

I now have the detail's from the RS boys.
We can enter the show from 8:30 so if we can aim to leave Safeway carpark at 9:00 that should get us parked up before the public are allowed in.
I will have windscreen passes to make it easier for the event organiser's to know we are in a group.
If Duncan and the Dorset mob,And anyone else for that matter, want's to meet us just inside the Motor museum main gate I can sort you out with the passes. We should be there about 9:15 ish.
Lets hope the weather hold's and see you all on Sunday.

Cheers Paul.

Jen

Oh, and we'll go at the back on the way down - running the new brakes in thanks to Colin who had a hell of a time fitting them due to the bizarrest caliper design in the world :D Still, they look very

I forgot to mention that there will be a show and shine contest if you fancy your chances. Colin are you watching!
