Good play from Butt, Sinclair, Heskey (my God it hurt to admit that) and without doubt Ferdinand and Mills.

Need to play more as a team though, and be more aware of where everyone is.

softest saddest penalty decision - the defender just put Owen off and he fell over.

Lets hear nothing more about the S Americans falling over from here on.

I remember 2 mins before slotting in the penalty Beckham flaining around like his leg was broken as well.

 

Reidy - no way, he stuck his foot out and took owen out after the ball had gone past him.

 

Yeah, but of course the Argies have been playing a clean, sportsmanlike game, haven't they?

And that penalty was one of the few I've seen that really was justified. Owen was well past him, and he clearly stuck his leg out to trip the young Scouser.

I think they're doing very well. Let's just hope Sven doesn't muck about and substitute 8 players at the start of the 2nd half.

 

It's how the rest of the world play football, so we just have to adapt don't we!

At least we don't openly cheat like Rivaldo.....

Worst penalty decision I've seen in a while. England stooped as low as the Argies in looking for free kicks. Owen just falls over all the time - he looks fab when he stays on his feet though.

Still though, England could have nicked a couple in the second half and were by far the better team.

 

Owen's shot should have been a goal really, and Sheringham's volley was superb (well saved though) from a great cross by Beckham...
