17" alloy - Legacy - Team Dynamics - pothole
Hope someone can help!!
I came face to face with a pothole.
Needless to say I came off worse. Rubbers fine!!
I'm after a Team Dynamics 1993 (ish) 17" 5 spoke (Each spoke is split) for a 1992 Legacy turbo.

REported it to the council
They said that they had a certain amount of time to respond......... and said that my claim was invalid, and that I had no grounds to make a claim.......

looking at the damage, it might surprise you that bashing it with a Nylon/leather hammer could straighten it quite a bit. Most aftermarket wheels are very soft, and bend quite easily. If it breaks, it breaks, but it can be worth a try. I have used a big heavy Thor copper/leather headed hammer on wheels before, hitting with the leather head. Using a soft head like that wont mark the wheel.

yeah, phone them up - nothing to lose.
not sure how far you'll get claiming off the council - I tried this when I hit a pothole down a country lane and wrecked my geometry - several letters and phone calls later they refused to compensate - their arguement being that after my complaint it (the pot hole) was filled/fixed within 5 days which is within their service level agreement so I had no arguement...
grrrr!
