STI 7 Brembo's
How much better are the Brembo's compared to the Subaru 4 pots and are they as good as the AP Racing 4/6 pots?
'm also considering the Prodrive 10 spoke wheels instead of the standard STI 7 wheels, anyone already done this, and how much did it cost?

Changed my STi7 wheels for the OZ's, paid £990 inc for the wheels then £479 all in for 4 225/40/18 Yoko AVS Sports, would also be interested to know peoples thoughts on the brakes as i still have my AP 6 pots from the last car but so far have found the Brembos ok (still running in though)

In my opinion, and probably that of most who have owned them, the AP 6 Pots cannot be beaten.
Having said, that, the Brembos on the STi are more than good enough for everyday driving. Also, they are miles better than the standard Scoob 4 Pots.
In any case, I was so pleased with the brakes, I sold them on.. Will proabably have a change of mind though when I eventually get the car on a track...

The Brembos are better than the standard set up but way off the AP set up.The Brembos have good initial bite when when deaccelerating from high speeds they seem to hit a finite point where you expect more but d'ont get it.I'm comparing them unfavourably to my previous set up of Wilwood 310mm discs and AP 4pots which were great.I can only imagine how good the AP 6 pots with AP 330mm discs are.I've changed the front pads to Pagids but have'nt really had time to put them to the test. They squeal like a pig being rojered from behind though!
I'm probably going to upgrade to AP 6 pots at some time but only if I can pick up a second hand kit.Probably not such an issue for Type UK owners as your cars are so slow anyway and the PPP is never going to happen!( LOL LOL LOL LOL!)
