Hum, not a lot to that Pug Cossie if the roll cage is taken away.
Is it NA or Turbo charged?
I saw it at the Wyedean on SS4, when the engine had started to give up the ghost emitting blue smoke through any available exit point at the rear of the car.
The next time was on Rallye Sunseeker and too my untrained ears it sound more like a Metro 6R4 (which I think has one of the sweetest sounding engine notes) than an Escort Cosworth, there didn't appear to be any anti-lag running on the car.
Just curious
Nigel
I think I'll make a trip to the Dukeries, I need another fix of some live rally action.
Edited to also say great pictures :D

Here are a few pictures from last weekends Red Dragon Rally. My team were running car 8 in the Escort Cosworth.
The stages used were the same as those used on the NetworkQ and we serviced in the same place as shakedown last year.
I was a bit busy this time so only got a few shots, car 0 was bill gwynne in his ex prodrive Impreza. Cars we competed against included FocusWRC, 555Impreza's, EVO6 and 7, Cossies and Andy Burtons Amazing Peugeot Cosworth.
Our driver, Simon Crook was unwell all day and contemplated pulling out but managed to keep going. We ended the day 10th overall which was about the best we could hope based on his condition. This leaves us 3rd overall in the BTRDA National rally chapionship at the half way point in the season. Not bad when there are 103 registered drivers. Next event is in sherwood Forest, on the Dukeries Rally, our best result there was 2nd overall in 1999, and that left us leading the championship, fingers crossed we can do a repeat job, i'll let you know.

I'm pretty sure the engine in Andy Burton's Pug 306R4 is a 2.5l non-turbo ex DTM Opel engine.

Andy has tried quite a few combinations in the car.
It started out with a Metro 6R4 engine, but that kept on throwing cam belts and blowing up.
He then went on to a Developed V6 Ford/Cosworth BTCC toring car engine taken out to 2.5 litres but that was unreliable too.
He is now running a V6 Opel engine, you can just about make out the Opel badges on the cam covers. I believe the engine is tuned/developed by cosworth. Not 100% on that as i havent found time recently to ask andy and rob.
One of my favourite cars of all time, i loved his Alfa Ferrari too, that sounded bloody amazing! :D
here are some videos of andy in action. :D
