As post in general. I tried to jump car with leads the wrong way round........I am only getting the hazard lights working. Could I have blown a fuse to the clifford causing everything to shut down??? For the life of me I cant remember if when it was on the clifford stoped all the dash lights/clock etc???

Anyone able to shed a light

And I know..... What a muppet!!

With having the voltage reversed, possibly the processor in the virtual key immobiliser has now gone down which means the ignition can't be turned on. It's also possible that as a result, other electronics in the car may be damaged too. The first thing to try would be disconnecting your battery (and whilst it's off, charging it fully), leave it disconnected a little while then reconnect it. The immobiliser may just spring back into life, if not, any competent auto electrician should be able to bypass it. Then you can find out what else may or may not be working.
