Allan
If your gymkhana struts are the match for the sti gymkhana progressive springs (originally paired with Showa dampers); the front/rear sti gymkhana springs are rated at 286/274
The progressive P1 springs are supposedly 215/195, maybe less - so you'd be way over-damped.
What rating are your hks springs?

This would surely seem the sensible option, as is the case with the US guys. The exact logistics can be worked out nearer the time

The more orders we can get, the lower the unit price is going to be, so keep your names coming

Is it worth adding the names from P1WOC. As the more names on the list the more potential interest it will get i.e it looks more viable and therefore will gain more interest.

I cannot comment regarding this group buy for the P1 Specification Springs to be manufactured by Eibach. But there is an MOQ of 40-50 sets, so it cannot take place until enough interest is there, and deposits are taken.

For that reason and as I don't require the P1 OE Specification spring, I aim to source my own from an alternative UK supplier. These will be based on what I have learnt from fitting the P1, Eibach-Pro, Eibach WR and STi Pink to my own car.
These are to suite my driving style, local East Sussex roads (very little dual carriageway and no motorways), occasional track day and the annual trip to The Nurburgring.

For me the STi Pink ticks pretty much every box when fitted to the Bilsteins (and these are a highly regarded spring by all those that use them, but unfortunately are not that cheap to import), with the exception I would like the rear to be more linear as highlighted by the recent fitting of WR Blue's. This is what I hope to achieve by using the alternative supplier.

Also as mentioned previously all technical content regarding different spring combinations are hopefully to be moved to the alternative thread : https://www.scoobynet.com/suspension...iscussion.html to avoid taking this group buy off track.

Hi guys, as requested by Scott all technical discussion from the thread until now plus further information can be found in a new thread created here....

https://www.scoobynet.com/suspension-12/993560-p1-sti-red-shock-bilstein-wr-shock-p1-red-springs-and-wr-blue-springs-discussion.html#post11286445

PS if there is any further content you would like removing or deleting from the GB thread please message me with the post numbers and I will sort.

PPS I have also been watching this and dependant of final design choice plus cost I may well be interested in a set as well, I do not wish to commit until a point I'm happy too

Regards
Simon

I would definitely buy a couple of sets if they are a match to the OE P1 springs.

Not interested if they are made lower or softer or harder.......

The springs will be all but identical, except in name as the 'Prodrive' label cannot be used.

So no (more) lowering, stiffening, softening, spring rate change etc... may as well say OE

The 'discussion' part of the thread has been moved off the GB thread
