the car is completely rust free. i have removed the C frame as i dont belive you need it. next winter the plan is to completely strip the car underneath gearbox, engine mounts, driveshafts out and give them a full refresh and powder coat underneath to protect it in the future

thanks ryan

So today took fuel rails off and replaced all injector seals just to be sure.. put it all back together and put power to the fuel pump was fine for 2 mins then set FPR to 3 bar and it happens again one of the injectors sprayed fuel everywhere then I got a leak at the rear of the car where I haven't even done anything.. this point I threw spanners in the air and gave up.. just teething problems just one after another atm.. be back on it tomorrow..

Bit of a update.
Due to how busy I been in work I'm putting my car on trailer and taking it up to Area 52 hopefully fir them to finish it off and give it a full check over. Worked out with how much I'm working and having the time and energy to finish it at nights and weekends it's not going to be done soon so going to bite the bullet I've done all work so far myself but I have my dream car just sat there and for what it will cost I'm going to send it up there so I can actually enjoy it..

Going front mounted turbo ben, custom made, had to pull the bits off sale now due to it all not going to e ready until September time. So for the time being next Saturday car is going up to area 52 for last few bits and run engine in and full map. Then once all custom stuff is made do the swap

rite guys bit of a update so whats going on atm with the car

so its over atm having a custom space frame front end built for it so i can have the front mount, radiator (now using a Pulsar rad), coolers as far forward as possible to fit the front mounted turbo set up im going for later this year.

car is booked in for the 5th of october at TEG to have a few other bits finished and engine finially run in and ful map by mr andy carr.

then its off to paint as its been in my garage for 2 years it has a few scratches and also the ABW arches need painting aswell as the new WRC style big bonnet vent to be smoothed off and painted in.

so hoping by end of october just as the bad weather comes it will be up and ready to run and drive.

will post some pictures up as i get them over the next couple of weeks

thanks ryan

so the car is up at TEG, hat off to them they got on the car straight away and started with the fuel leak i have been struggling with ends up being the injectors themselves which i bought off a member off here but carnt remember who it was! so having to buy a new set of Bosche 1000cc injectors at cost of £460 so not a great start tbh bit of a kick in the face as still have a lot to pay for

So that's it 2 long years later of blood sweat and tears.. and a **** load of cash..

The car is done and ready for mapping. Booked in for next Friday at teg with Andy Carr to run the car in and do a full map.. as always shifting myself about the new engine holding up but we shall see.. Hopefully when everything goes well it will be off to paint the week after.

Just also done a big order with Beatrush from ross from raw automotive good friend of mine so all that will be here in the next week or so after paint.

To everyone who has slowly filled this thanks for following. Pictures and update over next week.

That's been my problem all the way through mate. Amazing how everything adds up bit by bit doing all the work myself and having the time is a big one.

The custom space frame front end is done looks awsome imo. When car is painted will get some pictures up.

When it's back next plans are

Sparco pro 2000 seats
Spec c interior and black carpet
Fully flocked dash and interior bits

But by bit will get there
Waiting for my custom front mounted turbo manifold to br done by jase at Area 52 aswell

Some of you may have seen my post on problems I have been having so will post copy below on here 😕..

So where do I start..*

Over the last 2 years I have been building my blob sti bit by bit doing all the work myself and saving what I can and putting it into the car.. finally 2 weeks ago I finished it. Got car on the road did about 20 miles and boom turbo went smoke covering the road, got car back to garage and took turbo off the car and half a litre of oil in the turbine! Anyway so sent turbo back to supplier and got it back the week after all sorted.. fitted it back to the car, started it up and no smoke running like a dream! Really happy loving it! Got the car to the local valeting company for a 2 stage buff and it looked awesome! That night was out in the car not driving it to hard car still on low boost 1.4 bar 400/400 on a fully forged 2.0 with spec c heads.. not pushing it At all! Bang bottom end went.. managed to limp the car home and put it back in the garage.. to say I'm gutted is a absolute understatement 😕..

As it stands now I am looking into putting a 2.35 in the car to make it future proof. I have not yet split the engine to see what caused the failure but will be doing once I know what I'm doing and route I'm going with the car..

Thanks Ryan

Bit of a update.
So I've been speaking to Andy at WMS about a 2.35 build and this is the spec I'm thinking of building
Hi mate looking at this spec for engine
block bored and faces skimmed
Rear thrust conversion
acl main bearings (race series)
Mahle motorsport big end bearings
ej257 heat treated crank
11 oil pump
Crower rods
(arp2000 bolts) maybe use crower ones instead
Ceramic omega pistons
New crank seals
14mm head stud conversion
AS Performance twinscroll baffled sump

Spec c heads supplied by me and converted to 14mm
