So do these replace the standard dash parts or do they stick over them?

Done some more work on the car over the weekend. Installed a Japspeed alloy rad, intercooler and a set of Samco hoses in blue.

Had a right ball ache getting the intercooler in but its sorted now, didnt know I needed extra parts for the BOV so I have had to cap the pipes off. Have to say I love the sound now but still in 2 minds if im going to keep it like that

If it's running okay and you like the flutter leave the DV off - I did on mine for a while

I also left the bracket off that braces it to the manifold, but with no battery under the bonnet or aircon I don't need it - it just means I no longer foul the oil filler cap

The pipes are 2.5" on the fmic aren't they? Did it take you long to do it?

Cheers

I do like the sound and when the car is finished with all the carbon etc it'll be a good head turner at shows

At the moment its taking longer to spool and feels like its dragging its heels a bit but im guessing that should be sorted with a remap?? or im hoping so anyway

Yes all 2.5 mate, throttle body is 2.75 and turbo 2 but you should get all the hoses anyway. Took me a while to do it yes because I didnt know what to do with the BOV so I had to buy extra bits in plus my throttle body to pipe reducer was missing too. Knowing now how to do it i think it'd take a couple of hours to fit

Im not going for power its for looks mate. When the car is finished it'll be our show car and the idea with the FMIC was to get the pipework under the bonnet and then cover it in real carbon

Did the same to my brothers STi, and the car didnt drive very well, on the motorway when you let off the accelerator it felt like the car was hitting a brick wall. But I wonder if you had it mapped for it, if it drives any better???

It was mapped for it but it wasnt any better, gear changes were very harsh and the turbo was very laggy. Since I put the standard BOV back on its a lot smoother. Plus I read horror stories of turbos giving in because they couldnt handle the compression stall, didnt fancy swapping it out Ive got too much to do

Your car looks quite aggressive, but I think it needs a nice set of wide(9.5") wheels or XXR 8,75" wide wheels, dont think the pff7's pull it off, they look a little skinny in the arches!!!

Other then that looks a nice car, looking forward to seeing the updates with the other carbon bits on there!!!!
