I've got a DAS6 Pro mate. Very capable machine. Think the basic one would be a bit under powered tbh. I struggle with mine on hard paint (BMWs VAGs etc) even with a orange pad and FG500.
Considering getting a Flex or Festool as and when I've got a spare £400!!

Gaz or Bodski, I've got an RB320 and cleaned, waxed and polished her but for the first time I appear to be getting a lot of "polish dust" left on the car!! Could this be :-
1. Static
2. The cloths I'm using - microfibre
3. The type of polish/wax - Meguires
Someone recommened Autoglym HD as a wax. Just thought I'd ask you guys if you'd got any recommendations for an amateur who likes to look after his car!!
Sorry for thread resurection and hopefully many thanks for your thoughts and replies!!

Quite common mate. I always snowfoam a car after machine polishing to remove the polishing dust. It's just a sign of the polish being broken down correctly. If you want to prolong it's life before it starts to dust then spray the pad with a bit of qd or even water and you'll find it will take longer.
I always use Menzerna compounds and find they're It's not as bad as others
Autoglym HD wax is a good product. On a black car I'd personally go for Zaino Z2, then Z6 and lastly a couple of coats of Z8

Few pictures of a couple of recent details I've done.
2006 Ford GT. Just been sold on and the client wanted it looking at It's best for the new owner (nice to see)
And a gorgeous Mk1 Escort Mexico.
18 years into a concourse condition restoration. It was covered in overspray which the client was very embarrassed about. Long day but it came out lovely.
