Yes sounds a bit like 2002 STi boost spike. But JGM will soon sort it out. Mate had same thing put std airbox back on went like a rocket.

Normally peeps put an induction kit and dump vavle on without remap. This causes the boost to go over max permited boost in ECU. So th ECU cuts the boost back even lower. Hence less power. Early days used to fit restrictors in boost solenoid pipes to slow operation.

The standard induction box is good up to 420bhp.

may worth investing in a 3port valve. speak to JGM has more knowledge than me.

As the repeater is a recurring problem, why dont you just remove both repeaters and replace with a 3M carbon fibre insert?
I bought some a while ago and they looked really good

http://www.scoobyparts.com/acatalog/...E_MARKERS.html

£36.74.I did originally buy some proper c-f inserts that you had to stick in place with some pva black sticky stuff-absolute nightmare and looked gash.
Was a bit unsure of the 3M stickers as they were, well stickers!
Pleasantly suprised, looked good and filled the space nicely

yeah can't say I blame you wanting to avoid the m25 and I couldn't agree more with his car being a credit too him it's one of my favorites on the whole forum (although I'm probably slightly biased as he's my best mate )
