Fitting kit supplied as part of the Subaru/Pioneer upgrade or I assume they can supply it separately - part number SACC1760FK11MY
Most parts are Pioneer, so could be sourced separately but the revised USB/Aux Jack outlet in the centre console is AFAIK Subaru supply only.
Steering wheel controls still work although the phone ones have limited function. I believe this can be fixed as Pioneer have a revised hard wired "comfort adaptor" part number CA-R-SUB.199PHA which includes the phone buttons.
Am not really fussed about them as the phone info comes up on the touchscreen anyway.

Don, thanks for the info, got a wiring kit from Subaru. That wasnt cheap. Did you fit your usb connections, if so where does it go as there are no instructions with it.
Just to let everyone else know there is a cheaper AV panel available from Car Audio Direct and its look exactly the same as the OEM version and its £13.99 + £2 p&p, alot cheaper than getting one from Japan.

You replace the one in the centre console between the seats under the arm rest. You replace the front panel and PCB using the existing housing.
The existing wiring is not used but remains in place.
You can use this guide as it gives an idea of what's involved, although the wiring around the console is slightly different.
It also shows where the GPS aerial should be fitted for optimum performance.
Just had a look at the fascia..............

Think I prefer the JDM one, but then again I would have to

Years of searching the interweb
The Subaru of America tech site http://techinfo.subaru.com/search/index.html has some useful installation pdfs if you search using "Publication type" as "Accessory Installation Guide".
Even the guys at my Dealership have found them useful at times.

Looking at the magnified picture on Car Audio Direct it looks as if it's a cropped photo.

A subscription entitles you to download workshop manual details/info but as they are for US LHD versions, not always relevant to us here in the UK.

Thanks again.
SatNav has beenvery good and having a rear view camera with it is a bonus.
Not had much use for the microSD reader apart from updates.
Have all my music on a USB stick in the centre console

Amazing car
Really confusing me now
A BRZ
Or a
STi salloon
The black looks fantastic
Quite a debate in the Harding household at the moment
The misses keeps on reminding me of the advantages of AWD and the 350z kept getting stuck in the snow and the BRZ would be no better
We just have so much rain up north that I'm worried the BRZ will be just too slow in bad weather conditions after 12 years of safe and rapid driving with subaru AWD
What sort of average mileage do you get 30/32 or 25 when you are having fun

Have had them on about a week.....
As it happens Tony, had the wheels off today to fit some Speedbleeder nipples, so took a couple of piccies
Only thing wrong was that Alcon hadn't drilled the parking brake/bell so that you can adjust the handbrake (Hatch onwards adjusted through the disk not the back plate).
Had to drill in the correct position, added a rubber grommet and did a little bit of balancing by drilling a dimple opposite.

Steve, the saloon surround is the same as the hatch. I used tamiya spray paint as it's quick drying and designed for plastics.

Hi Don, when you fitted the R205 Black fender garnish, how did you get your's off and was it a hard job, cheers hughy, car looks awesome by the way.....

Fairly easy.
You can either just pull the front fender garnish at the top away from the wing and then remove the badge (It's held on with strong doublesided tape).
Or if you want to remove the complete garnish/badge to the bench, you will need to unclip the front of the sideskirt before it can be removed.
Follow the relevant section in the Rally Armor flap fitting instructions.........
