ICP's prices can be high in comparison with DIY import.

Further to last reply Japanparts is back up (or not so busy )

STi Performance Package link
https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/37157

Works out about £850 in total including Del, VAT, Import duty and Admin charge.

Corrected original Japanparts part# for Lower Stiffeners is 1008P-020-005 although not listed on revised site but no doubt still available if you ask them.

Following a trip to North Wales in March/April, it had become apparent that after six and a half years my current suspension (the OEM Spec C struts/dampers and Pro-R springs) had become a little tired and very "crashy" over our potholed roads.

Not wishing to go to coilovers for a road car, I decided to go a different path and continue my STI Performance Package upgrades.

Bilstein/STi upgrade damper kit complete with new top mounts and other hardware required to make up complete replacement units..........

Ride height remains the same at roughly 10mm lower than standard.

Ride quality, on first impressions, much improved and more connected.

STi Relevant pages -suitable for GRB/F or GVB/F

Front stuts

Rear Dampers

Springs

Also added valenti all LED rear lights

As mentioned, no different in ride height to what it has been since 2012 when I fitted the Pro-R springs.

Ride height remains the same at roughly 10mm lower than standard.

As complete made up units (new top hats, bump stops, dust covers etc.) in excess of £2000.

A massive improvement over the OEM shocks and Pro-R springs without the hassle of coil overs..........

Jesus. That's just too much. There's no value in a £2000 suspension set up for me. The real irritating thing is that the standard shocks are made by KYB and so there must be a way of getting them without paying Subaru prices. The fact you can't just get a B12 kit off the shelf here is pretty annoying too.

Don, how do you find the Bilsteins/STi pink combo (damping, pitch, roll) compared with the OEM setup after having lived with it for sometime now?

At what mileage did you replace the OEM shocks & springs with the latest setup?

Aren't the bumpstops internal and included with the Bilsteins since I assume they are inverted?

@ Jay, it's a lot of money yes but a worthwhile 'investment' IMHO

OEM springs were changed for Pro-R blues at 14Kmiles
Complete strut/damper/spring change at 52K miles
Currently on about 56K miles
Yes front struts are inverted with internal bump stops
Rear dampers have external bump stops

A secondhand setup without tophats or dust covers

Ride quality/feel much improved, especially with all the other upgrades/add ons previously done from the STi box of tricks .

They may look the same but doubtful as they are matched to individual model requirements

The original JDM A/V surround came with the silver edges similar to the UK version

I painted mine as I wanted to remove the silver centre console items

HOWEVER

you can now get the S206 A/V panel from Japanparts

https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/46465

or the original JDM panel

https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/18150

Connects2 Ltd used to do a copy of the JDM panel with their fascia kits but no longer, now they include just the infill surround piece for the oversized opening of the UK original.

Good read & pictures

I like the repeatedly redoing the same thing until it’s right & then upgrading it again philosophy

Did you paint the carbon bonnet & boot matt?
