Thanks again Gary Here is the wiring diagram I've just got off Nasioc.

Looks easy enough to wire in, just got to play around with what's the best place to do it.

I was going to do all this tomorrow, but I've just been offered a full trackday at Oulton Park for a very large discount, and I'm not going to pass it up So, it'll be next week now that they're fitted. Keep us posted on your installs though guys, and get sending the emails to david to get your supertones

chris.

GOT THEM ON

I was nervous about firing them up for the first time, the kids were out playing, and some workmen were carrying stuff from next door, didn't want to scare them too much

So after the kind engineers wired them all up, I've got them in today. Still needs the wiring tidying up, but they worked first time (thanks guys )

Finally, I get to make my own film of them here: HELLA

What do you reckon?

Yeah, the stock horn on the my03 is not too bad, just need to relocate the horns now, so they can be seen inside the grill
Nearly there!

Definately need to be behind the grill, just to give a flash of red as they spin round from the blast of the horn

Do you think it might be wise to put some mesh in there too, just to protect from stone chips, after all there're in a pretty vunarable place

I know what you mean shippy, but that damn steering radiator is in the way on the left side
I'm going to install them properly this weekend, and hide all the wiring, also the relay needs locating and waterproofing properly, so I'll have another look at location. Now I know it's working, I've got the confidence to play around a bit

Had another go at mounting today. I tried to move the pipework, but couldn't see anywhere to move it too So I've left it, and moved both horns over to the right hand side, just behind the grill. I'll take a picture tomorrow, by the time I'd finished today, it was nearly dark
To waterproof the relay, I've put it in a plastic bag top tip from the work engineer

Would be better if they were balanced both sides.... but still looking good as they are hidden behind the grille in semi stealth mode.. Are they really that much louder than the standard??

So, who still wants one? If you do, please contact David at marketing@specialist-leisure.co.uk and also post your name on here. He's got one left which is on ebay for a buy it now price of £59 + £6 p&p, or you can order off him once you've mailed him, for £64 all in

Big thanks to everyone for scouring the net for these horns, and to starship impreza for being so eagle eyed on ebay
Now all that's required is to fit them, anyone good with a soldering iron

chris.
Thanks for the kind comments guys
The above quote is where to get them from, give David an email, and let us know how you get on with ordering them, he can get them within 2-3 days from the states

Follow the thread from the top of page 3 for fitting instructions, if you want a hand Warren, give us a shout
