I'm not really interested in all the ridiculous posts about how pretty people's Subarus look, but in this case I will make an exception as it think it looks excellent - Good job!

Did you fit new arches and how much did it set you back if you don't mind me asking? PM if you prefer.

I'd fancy a classic wagon but the fear of rust puts me off...

Most rear arche works seems to come in at £600 -£1000 and sills can be rotten too which makes spending on a £1500-£2000k not economically viable
But hey what's money and life all about if that's what you want

That green wagon is a beauty. I'm really glad to see it's getting sorted. Good on you for getting it repaired and back in it's rightful place!

Sadly sold today, best car I`ve ever had, but hatch spec c arrives next week.
Just wanted to say, I cleaned my injectors with Injectortune before I sold,( 88 000 miles) and now wish I had done it earlier; the car has been transformed, much more responsive, and feels like it has gained a few horses. Apart from stage 1 mods, cleaning the injectors was the most noticable change that I have made to the car, in 6 years of ownership, well recommended, very few folks ever bother to do this. Farewell, blob wagon

They are on ebay, and have a website. Last year I had some pinks cleaned locally as I was hybridising my td04, and I was royally shafted; no paperwork, no seals changed, claimed baskets were changed, but later found they hadn`t , so got them done again, but they were only cleaned and baskets done. Both were part of the ASNU network, so one was ok and one a robber. Cost £72 a set.
Injectortune (James) was only contactable by email, so I was a bit suspicious plus my previous experience, but he answered all my questions,so I posted them off to Devizes Wilts, £56 inc return p&p, came back immaculate, car transformed. I had a repetitive PO301/302/303 which has vanished, and had changed plugs, coil packs, front 02, cam sensor, etc to no avail before, so I am well chuffed. ******* of a job, though, doing the changing !!

Just to add, I had a terraclean in the autumn to try and solve this problem cel, but couldnt really see a difference after, and the light came back. Always a possiblity that there was a pipework leak which caused the problem, which I then inadvertently corrected when putting everything back.
There is no quick fix for injector cleaning at higher mileage; I`ve tried the pills and potions, and they have to be pulled and properly cleaned.

Here's my 2005 blobeye wagon PPP.

Current spec
Prodrive decat midpipe
Afterburner 2.5" middle section w/ resonator
Prodrive backbox

It's had another map since and now boosts @ roughly 1.3/1.4 according to the gauge. Not sure what I'm going to do, maybe go with a VF35 and supporting mods or hybrid TD04.

I'll definitely upgrade the brakes and do some suspension mods
