Does anyone remember Pringles Idaho rippled crisps - from memory a blue tube? Dont ever recall seeing them in this country but used to love em when I lived abroad. Also when Sour Cream & Onion was Sour Cream n Chives actually with little bits of chives on them and tasted far superior to the crappy current version.
Found this interesting read re: Pringles:

Remember this advert?
It just popped into my head after someone mentioned skins...
The Smiths advert:
We want to be Smiths crisps lallalalal
which was followed by...
We want to be Ja-a-ckets we want to be ja-a-ckets....
Mmmmm, crisps with the potato skins still on.... Nummy!

Remember the advert with Lenny Henry walking through a room, and slowly getting bigger (excuse the pun!) until eventually his head hits the ceiling?
I think he was advertising Smiths Square Crisps

KP Beef Crisps in the late 70s early 80s
I remember the strong taste of KP beef crisps back in the early 80s tremendous.
Does anyone remember Peri crisps which were 2p for a packet. Tudor pickled onion in a blue bag for 2.5p. And for those kids with more pocket money Golden Wonder crisps 3p for a packet.
What about the Aztec bar which was a sister to the Mars bar but in a purple wrapper. A Bar Six which you could purchase from school vending machines for 10p.
There must be an opportunity for a sweet manufacturer to undertake a survey or market research to see if some of these great products could be reintroduced.
First on the list would be the Milk Tray bar 6-8 inches log hosting a range of chocs including orange, strawberry etc. However i don't think it could sell for 10p.
QUOTE=Jamesemt;5922650]Yeah but they don't taste quite the same (Beef) - it seems to be a darker flavour than what I remember...plus they should be in a red bag [/QUOTE]
