The media in this country is rotten to the core....He was royally stitched up.

Oh well, back to a yes man manager who will do absolutely fcukall for the national game but he'll pick a starting eleven the FA asks him too so it's all good.

Although he does bow out with 100% record, respect!

But come on he has form for dodgy behaviour so I think he was set up to show he is still as disrespectful as ever. Don't you think he should have been whiter than white being England Manager when at such a meeting instead of advising how to exploit loopholes to diddle his employer out of money?

To behave the way he did shows an utter lack of respect for his position as England Manager and the fact despite his huge salary he is still looking to earn on the side.

I'm not a fan of stings I think it's disgusting it's allowed but some of those caught as in this case ask for trouble with their behaviour. I'm staggered that to get to be England Manager you would then act like he has plus risk the £3m salary which is just nothing short of greed.

The goal in the England managers job (and all football managers for that matter) is to get sacked, and then receive a hearty amount of money as a result

He was totally stupid

Hoddle has already been sacked as England manager - for suggesting that people born with disabilities were being punished for things done in a earlier life !!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite my 'entrapment' post, I totally agree.

lol, well I did say he was an ar5hole

and yes I do think, in general, those 'entrapment' Journo's are ar5holes too

I believe the "fake sheik" is currently on trial as we speak for being an ar5hole

obviously if the "entrapment" brings out something of national importance and is of genuine public interest then that's different

Exposing Big Sam as being both greedy and thick is on the margins

but as ever your mileage may vary

Mmm, when you think about, it really shows what a dearth of talent we have - throughout football

I always think Pardew cakes over quite well

It just shouldn't be an English manager. How many of the England team play for an English manager at their clubs? What English manager is or has managed a top English or European club in recent years? English managers play defensive setups as they are always at lesser teams fighting to stay in the Premiership and the England players play for foreign managers at their clubs who on the whole play more attacking football. The 2 just don't go together in my opinion.

Something that can't be said about AFC Bournemouth and Eddie Howe. We played Everton off the park last Saturday with a style of football no other English manger plays. A style of football that all the pundits said we would have change if we were to stay in the EPL last season...Shows how much they know!

When Ray Parlour was in Hoddles England Squad he was sent to see Eileen Drury, as he tells it he sat down and simply said Short back and sides please, she didn't see the funny side and Hoddle sent him home and never picked him again.

Pathetic, nothing wrong with a bit of humour
