UPDATE FROM HYDROTEK

Right Dan, we have had nothing but bother with another order of wiper arms we have sent out, it seems different models have different shape wiper arms from bug/blob n hawk which you would think they are the same! But no they not and classics been the same ect, so we sent out and nothing but return ect ect, wot I need to know from the group buy, who would be up for sending there own wiper arms to rid this issue.....we just seem to be sending them out and not been the right ones, when we get them from breakers I think it's just a lucky bag and they are putting anything in and making it a nightmare this end to get right! Yes I know we could of asked this earlier but trying to get our heads around this other lot sent out has took some doing, I'd appreciate if the buyers could do that or for the same amount have something else dipped from our selfs......wot I can promise is if they send there wiper arms if here for a monday/ Tuesday they would be done and back in the post by Thursday/Friday at the latest ........ If you could just ask or put it out there for us that would be great, sorry your been the middle man and taking the brunt of complaints but I'd like this sorted ASAP if possible.......cheers

I would advice anyone wishing to do this to ring HYDROTEK direct

many thanks

Doesn't really suit me to ship my own blades to be done, is there an option of a full refund if we decline this offer? I would have waited for the right part, but reading the above it sounds a bit too much like pot luck to me.

Me niether, with a daily driver and this country's weather, I really need wipers on the car at all times.

I've just requested a full refund through resolution centre in Paypal..

I was hoping it would not come to this, but I've basically had enough waffle from one supplier that I can take...

Poor show.

Bloomydj, thanks for all your trying and effort it's not you fault, and I lay no blame on you. This is just poor customer service from Hydrotek.. End of!!!

I stupidly did the same thing, lesson learnt.

And still not received a thing...
I don't use my car that much, although it is a daily drive.
But couldn't risk not being able to use it incase of an emergency.

I got a response through Paypal, with the same store that the beakers sent the wrong wiper, The also asked again if I could sent my wipers to them, with a 4 day turn around. They also said they really wanted to complete the transaction.

I said I was not going to send my wiper arms as I use the car daily and would be stuffed if it rains.

Waiting on a reply

Such a shame that this GB has come to this. Looks like it was a combination of bad communication, rotten luck and people being let down by other suppliers down the line.

I feel lucky that I managed to get a set off ebay and they sit quite happily on my scoob now but for the guys on here hoping to have a set from this GB must be frustrating. Lets hope you all get sorted in the end

P.S not to rub it in but mine look lovely

HERE WE GO!!!!!!

After requesting a refund through the resolution centre, Hydrotek were very quick to respond with, all the reasons why it's gone wrong, and send my wipers to them to get done.

Now I have replied with no thanks, refund please , no response for 2 days..

It's going to be down to PayPal to force the refund I feel

I was going to get some photographs and dimensions sent over to them. I think they are getting another few wipers in and they can verify dimensions before sending them out. I still want them, just cant send my wipers away with an MOT coming soon.

I had a strange dream about them the other night, I dreamt they kept on smudging every time I touched them LOL.

Nope..

I emailed them on the 15 th sept, last response from them was the 19th, saying they were getting another set of arms in to be dipped and would be shipped out.

Well more than 2 weeks later and nothing.

Poor excuse for a company. Will certainly be giving bad reviews on FB and Google.

Got an update from Hydrotek - new batch in, should be dispatching next week. I was about to start a paypal refund, told them last Friday was the cut off date for me. We will see what next week brings. If they are not there by this Friday I am done waiting.

Anyone else holding out?

Got mine today, seem like a good job

Can't try them out as I have the car locked up at my parents garage for winter. Might get down next weekend to fit them, although they look like the right ones from photographs I sent to Hydrotek.

Shame the GB didn't run a lot smoother, they should look great, big improvement from the corroded mess that is currently on the car.

Was going to go down the refund route but decided to have them in the end. They do look pretty Gd in all fairness. Just a pity I had to wait so long with all the problems uncounted. Will post pics up soon.
