the fact that is was by two evangelical Christians just made a bad situation worse

Nobody's invaded Nigeria, but the Islamists are insurgent there. Nobody invaded Syria, but the Islamists are insurgent there. Islamists hijacked the democratic revolution in Egypt. Nobody invaded the Yemen, but AQ are insurgent there. Who filled the vacuum in Libya?! Who are insurgent in Afghanistan?! Etc. etc...blame the rotten ideology of Islamism, not a couple of western politicians who happen to be Christian.
