Hi there

Something like GT30 with .63AR or better with 82AR should make 600bhp and will have nice spool on yours, but if yours is 2.5L I would say,GT35 with .63AR should be best bet and will spool too great, other option is GT3576 which have excellent spool

There are few other options like is Holset HX35 or Borg Warner EFR range which spools very nicely

Injectors depends, seen few cars making close to 600bhp on 750cc injectors,I think this guy run two 044 in tank and swirl pot

Yes I would say and would incline to run bigger injectors something like ID1000cc which we are run

What ECU are you running there?

Thanks,Jura

Hi there

Not sure if Apex PFC will be OK,this will confirm yours mapper, but in my view I would swap ECU for ESL or AlcaTek if budget doesn't allow,if budget allows then Syvecs I would choose

Hope this help

Thanks,Jura

Yes agree,30R is good choice there, this turbo will spool on yours nicely and will have great spool

You know you will need to run Rotated/Twisted kit for this turbo?

Please speak with RCM or Hayward and Scott, but you can find those turbo too for sale as used and you will make great saving on this

Thanks,Jura

Hi there

Not sure what model you have, but in yours case you need Syvecs S6 and this depends on the how many plugs you have,3 plugs or 4 plugs

Syvecs is great ECU with best features, agree cost more than AlcaTek,but this ECU is worth the extra in my view

Hope this help

Thanks,Jura

A gt30 won't do 600 on v power even with full supporting and say 2.35 it's just not big enough.
A 35 is more so needed to scrape 600 on pump fuel With full supporting and to get 650 on pump will norm normally be a hta 37 or similar size .
Enginetuner did a 650 horse on pump fuel with a hta 37 and built 2.35 which then made around 740 with meth.
Cheers

Either a md321v + from lateral will get you near that with great spool

Gt35 billet Scooby clinic means rotating yes but will get you your 600 easy and with write supporting mods and engine spool great

Mazmike on here has full blown finch built race spec 2.0 9k rpm with gt30(big spec) mapped by Martyn @ ET And that made 580 on meth.
With 2.1/2.35/2.5 it's manily bigger torque gains maybe smidge more power.
500 ish I think is where 30's get too but in the scheme of turbos there not that big now.
Owen development do some big 30's and upwardsto 35/37's with crazy spool and new technology but not cheap.
People seem to run billet 35's now for fun and they deliver good driveabilty and better fuel economy on a run due to getting later boost.
I run a gt30 on a standard blob 2.0 Sti with 97k in clock and best turbo I've had on the car so far.

Are you on standard internals as well? Is it rotated and what kind of figures are you making.

Wouldn't need meth injection you can add it to the fuel and run separate maps.

My cars not making Making any crazy power with the 30 as the standard ecu is stopping it from running more than 1.5 bar so I have an Alcatek to go on to potentially release about 30/60 horse up to 1.8 bar depending how the engine takes it. Turbo would do 2.1 but standard engine won't.
It's a non billet gt3076 and diy rotated,
Fully standard engine never split, 97k and standard clutch. Bar engine full supporting mods rcm headers, fmic RAMAIR induction etc etc Making 433 @ 1.5. 398 @ 1 bar.
Cheers

Iainmilford's car is a perfect example of what a full supported 35 on v power will do and then with meth etc. That is a stunning build!👍

I've had the car for just over 20k miles in 3 1/2 years and over 10k of that have been track miles with mlr sprints/time attack and 3 ring trips.
I do launch the car but yeah when you grab second the clutch will slip etc.
I've had IT mapped 7 times and 156 Runs on enginetuners dyno on the same clutch and engine.
Haha it will die one day.
I've ran a vf43 with meth to 410horse and a td06 20g to 420 on v power prior.
With meth in looking to do 500 😁

Good going that is

I'm on the standard engine running a LM450 gt30 sized turbo at 453 at 1.7bar also looking for a meth map next.

I've pretty much done what you have and built around the engine with everything else so when she decides to go kicking and screaming I can drop a nice fresh motor in and be a happy guy again without having to outlay for everything all at once.

Subaru should have made there turbos rotated from the factory, such a cleaner well presented more efficient engine bay set up plus looks badass 😁.
Far better to work on too
