The car has got bottom end knocking, but luckily I have a 44k mile sti8 block.

I'm changing a few bits to it, to make it look more OE

I'm on now with ordering some parts for engine build
But in the meantime this came

340lph pump and a 3 port BCS.

Well as the nice weather is here

My plan for the car is as follows.

First and foremost is to sort engine out as first priority so I can put it on the road.

Paint, bonnet, splitter, fog covers back to original colour.
Refit proper scoop back on.
Fit medium rear spoiler.
Remover front side tints only.

And then the other bits I've collected like bucket seats, Brembos, ARB's etc etc.

That looks alright apart from the bits you plan on changing, I'd add the Darlek gear *** to that list.

Much better place to put your money too, just take it easy for a while once you get it up and running to get to know the car a little bit as Type R's bite back.

Mind you with a number plate like that I'm sure you'll be fine.

Bits and bobs will get adressesed as I go along

The plate is going to go up for sale eventually. (Hopefully to a p1 owner with money )

RCM timing belt kit inc pump
RCM 1.1 head gaskets
RCM 11mm stud kit
Jdm oil filter
Heat 7 spark plugs
Millers cfs 10/50
Areocatch for bonnet
Oil modine

I also had a bit of time to put original bonnet vents and scoop back on (much better IMO)

Just need to get bonnet and a couple of other bits painted (but that can wait till after engine build).
I also put a mid spoiler on but no photos of that as it needs painting (horrible colour ATM).

I also managed to fit swrd 340lph fuel pump, only remembered to take pic after fitted lol

And this is what I removed, the sock had disintegrated from pump and had to fish it out of the tank.

Oh yes, love goodies.

Hmm, I'm thinking fuel surge which may have contributed to going pop.

That looks so much better without the microwave on the bonnet, still prefer the original spoiler though rather than the mid one

It was a carbon one and gone before I collected car.
I've got another boot lid which I'm going for a smoothed look with a e46 lip on. For this boot eventually I'll get a s202/3 type spoiler
