Aww thanks,we have two, both are very small and nearly 5 years old now.

Mittens lost her tail, she still loves to climb and play hide'n'seek tho.

Her sister Saash is a bit of a floozy...

They both fight each other but don't all siblings
They do love each other tho...

Mittens and Saash are beautiful, Ossett!

I'm very grateful to God for making small cats. They are so able to trigger the feeling of affection in a human that it feels unreal! I find cats very, very heart warming, comforting, infantile and so adult at the time. Amazing little creatures!

Agree Turbohot,cats are amazing animals

Lord Rubix and Lady Coco are lovely looking cats.
Glad to hear Lady Coco is ok after her accident.
We were also told by vets for pets that out Mittens had to be put down after her attack
We took her to our local vet and he gave her a chance,we also had to empty her bladder for her, eight weeks later she started to wee on her own....so happy

Thank you very much and so good to know that Mittens is now fine, Ossett! Give her a cuddle from me. Actually, give a cuddle each to both Mittens and Saash from me.

Matt, if I remember correctly that you used to say with conviction that you were a Maine Coon breeder, and that used to wind thenewgslaxy (registered and pretty hard core Maine Coon breeder) up something chronic. So, how come you didn't recognise Jasey's cat spread as more than a bit of a Maine Coon? Even I would have asked him if it were a Maine Coon, not a 'bit' of a Maine Coon.

Is it because you were never really a registered breeder etc.? Or, do you think you didn't quite recognise Jasey's Casper as an MC because he's black?

Black Maine Coons are rare(ish) but definately "Allowed". Anyhow we rescued Casper as he was to be put down when his previous owner died and had in her will that if he didn't go to a family member he was to be destroyed . Luckily her grandson ignored the dead old bat and asked us if we'd take him on.

How could anyone resist

This guy rocked up at my house last week.

Had a micro chip thankfully. Lovely cat, but... Louder than my car!
Owners were on holiday so had to keep him for 3 days, got the name Mr Onions as he smelt of onion/garlic.
Apparently had been missing for 2 months and should have been taking medication for a stomach problem.
Now "Bart" as he is known is back with his family.

What an irrational woman to leave such a wish in her will, eh! Glad her grandson ignored it and you took him on. Of course one can't resist, he's so gorgeous!

Aww! Good on you for temporarily taking care of Bart, bobbyd. Bart is lovely! By the look of him, I think Bart has some Siamese in him. How much, I wouldn't know. I'm not a registered Siamese breeder.

'Recist' bit for a black cat is simply a joke, anyone can see that, so lighten up, please.

Isn't it true that you and thenewgalaxy had some serious conversations and differences here on SN, about your claim of you being a registered MC breeder? My curiosity is very reasonable, Matt. Are you one or not? Or, was it someone else who TNG doubted to be a registered MC breeder? Straight questions, give us straight answers, please. If you are, great. If you aren't, fine. You still have very cute cats and your Ludo is a hero, no doubt.

I made it clear that I'm a registered breeder but chose to have our queen spayed as she'd gotten calicivirus, unlike other breeders we have morals. I couldn't positively ID Jasper as there was no way to judge scale and no visible Lynx tips or paw tufts. (the former isn't an essential feature.) A non-Maine Coon visits our back garden every day who looks just like Jasper, only smaller.
You also doubted my claims about Ludo's size for many months ("Matt, you exaggerate.") until I showed you Guinness World Records themselves verifying his length.

Turbo I'm a rare commodity these days, honest. Too honest. You'd see that in the Newsreader thread.

Matt, doubting your knowledge about Maine Coons because you couldn't recognise a 'not so clear' (it's true) picture doesn't mount to you defensively calling my post a pathetic one. The answer you provide here with your Maine Coon knowledge is more appropriate.

Like my query, Your defence has a clear cut relationship with my mention of that TNG episode/s.

Anyway, during those TNG episodes I didn't read your clarification you give here on my request that you were indeed a registered Maine Coone breeder before your queen got spayed. Fair enough. Perhaps TNG doesn't class you as a current breeder as you don't currently breed, although you might still be on the breeders' register. So, my query was due to that past episode full of ambiguity. Thanks for answering it.

Regarding me doubting your cat's size, look, pictures don't always do justice, do they. Also, we all can say allsorts on Internet and reality could be very different. In addition, I've found you quite a lighthearted humorous poster in past and exaggeration is one of the ingredients of humour. It's like when you say that people are $h7tscared of Ludo because of his size. Come on, I don't buy that in a literal sense! Ludo is too cute and timid looking thing to be scared of! So, recognising your cat's size claim as an exaggeration equated to your humour for me, not really me trying to say that you're a pathological liar or anything. I think I also said sorry for doubting you on Ludo's size because I felt that I ended up hurting you, mate. If I didn't say sorry then, I apologise for that, now. Ok?

Take it easy. Honesty is the best policy and I'm glad you're honest. It's clear to me now that you ARE a registered Maine Coon breeder but you DO NOT breed any more, or at least currently your breeding is not on. That's because your queen has been spayed.

It's really important to have correct info because the likes of us cat lovers may look for a Maine Coon in near future and need to know a registered and bona fide breeder. I'm sure you appreciate that because you also own an authentic Maine Coone yourself.

Well done
My mum has 2 siamese and one went missing, it wasn't seen for over 2 weeks. My mum put up posters and a notice in local shops. Someone contacted her and they had been feeding her cat for the last week. It turned out that the cat had crossed a big main road and probably couldn't find it's way back or daren't cross again. They had seen it at the bottom of their garden (near the main road) for a few days, luckily they were cat lovers and bought some food and fed it. The kindhearted people contacted my mum and they were reunited

That's very heart warming.

My fat cat climbs up some heights but he has an issue with coming back down. He got stuck on people's roofs, tall trees and on our porch a fair few times, and nearly all my neighbourhood had to come and rescue him all those times.

And yet its not the biggest (in weight) in the world is it? its the longest (allegedly). But your utube channel is all about him being the biggest, what is that all about?

Someone say tufts She's no Coon but has cool ear tufts Our rescued stray, Shadow, she's a tiny little thing! She's had a tough life by the looks of it, I'd love to know her story!!

My latest cat Turbo (grey, also a rescue cat) is growing like mad! He's not far off the size of Sox now. They still squeeze into his kitten bed together!
