It's a pretty simple piece of kit, are you sure you have the right coils? Sounds like they're not sealing.

Didn't you buy a few atomisers and batteries? Which one?

I just bought another 2 batteries, Spinner II and IPow2 and some more 1.8ohm coils. But i'm still using the 5 coils that came with the EMOW mega kit.

Bioforfger, let us know how long your Ipow2 battery is lasting after its first proper charge. I'd say i'm a medium user, i'm getting around 12 hours, it was quite a bit longer out of the box but after doing a couple of charges its now around 12 hours. The first 2 bars seem to dissapear really quickly, what settings do you have etc.

With the Spinner II I'm getting 2 days usually (32hours or so), but i only vape 4-5 times a day for about 10-15mins, with max airflow and 4.3V, i've not received the Ipow2 yet, so I'll let you know. I always turn the batts off overnight.

I've fixed the leak, seems Jack was right and the coil wasnt screwed in right although it was tight, but the taste just isn't there like it usually is on the 1st day. I don't think these upgraded dual coils are very good. Might buy the older version and see how they go.

I pointed that out to you in a previous reply that customers on the MyEpack site were not impressed with the new upgraded Kanger dual atomisers

Ive not had the new Kanger colis in long enough to give an opinion yet, the 1.5 ohm ones vape smoothly and still give a nice hit, you get the flavour better as well. I'll be able to comment more after a week, the one that came in the Emow Mega tank lasted for about 4 days before you get that funny taste and less of a hit, it's when you know they are on their way out.

Yea exactly what i experienced. I'll definitely try the 1.5ohm ones after you have tried it for a week or so. The older non upgraded coils by all accounts do seem to last longer.

The Ipow2 battery turned up today, lovely piece of kit. It's giving me a better vape by itself.

From my experience and feedback on the myepack website, the Kanger upgraded dual coils are. They all come in different ohm levels. The Kanger EMOW kits should use 1.5ohm or above coils. I've been using the 1.8ohm ones, Rob is using the 1.5ohm ones. You can also get 2ohm ones.

There are also the older coils (V1 if you like) which also work in these EMOW kits, which by all accounts seem to be better and last longer. I need to test some more

The coils aren't expensive so if you looking at buying its probably best to buy a batch of 1.5 and 1.8ohm non upgraded and upgraded coils to see which suits you best. You can buy them in packs of 5 for a discount.

Also the type of e-juice you use can affect the longevity/taste as well.

Clear as mud isn't it

When you hold it and feel the weight and build quality it feels like it would cost more than £19.99, i'm might just vape on the battery

Yea spot on, its much better than the Spinner II which is the same price!

I'm getting the same batt life as you for the ipow2, 6hrs so far and about 50% left. I'm running it at 8-8.5W with a 1.8ohm coil still.

One gripe, as you know its micro usb, great, but why are the usb leads always so short! Have to stand it next to a plug to use a wall charger. Ideally i'd like to plug it into a PC, but then it takes too long to charge.

Yeh it is short, don't know why they do it.. Well we do.

My only real gripe is with the fire button, sometimes you can be fiddling around trying to find it as it sits too flush. Would have been better slightly more raised, great battery though and hopefully it lasts a decent while.

10 day average here. 1.8ohm. Coils are just over a quid, if you used one a day and didn't smoke you're still making a huge saving.

After you have charged your Ipow 2 battery the indicater in the LED shows its fully charged with all the bars full, as soon as you take it off the charger it loses one bar. is yours the same ? I find the first half goes pretty quick.

I'm liking the 1.5 ohm atomisers, they are a nice vape, i prefer them over the 1.8 ohm one that came with it. How long it will last is another thing, hopefully a decent length of time.

Yea its the same, 1st two bars go very quickly then down to 3 bars for a bit longer. It lasts a couple of days max.

I'm getting a new head for mine FOC, i think its fecked/warped or something, its not getting a proper connection to the batteries.

I tested out the new Kanger Dual Coils, the 1.5 ohm version. I put one in last monday and it lasted 8 days till today, i probably could have dragged it out a bit longer but they are a lot cheaper than the previous coils i used which were 2 for £5.99 so you may as well pop in a new one. I'd be more than happy if they last 8 days per coil, that was very good quality hits and flavour for the full 8 days.

I bought a pack of the older version as well to compare, the same 1.5 ohm. I put one in today so i'll see how long that lasts and what the quality of the hit and flavour is in comparison.

Cool. I'm not having much luck. One coil lasted a day before the wick started to come out at both ends, another lasted less than a few hours, another 1 day, i reckon ive got a duff batch of coils or a fecked airflow valve or both. And all my liquids taste like ***, with or without a new coil in now Anyway still waiting for a new airflow valve to see if its that, if not then it must be the coils as changing the battery makes little difference, so i got some 1.5 ones coming to.

You must be running too hot. I only go above 8.5 watts for a single drag occasionally. If you're having trouble with these heads then you would have been ****ed with the old ones.

Nah been running it at 8.5-9W, with all the coils i've tried bar the 1st one the flavour just goes after a day. The 1st coil was good for 5 days. I must have a duff batch of coils. Plus sometimes the air control leaks, the o-ring inside must be nicked or something.

I can't remember but is the twisty air control ring supposed to stop turning at some point?
